spawning success!! L46

Post by mpfsr »

I bought this group a few years ago as 2m 2f fish and they were about 1-2years old. now between 4-5yrs old they have finally spawned for me and could not be happier. I keep them in a 55g tank with some RCS to clean up any leftover food. Temp 80-82. I do water changes 30% every 2 weeks. Did a 70% 3 weeks ago and maybe that's what triggered them not sure as I have had little time with the fish room. Just wanted to share my joy :YMPARTY:

about 12 fry.. I feed a mix of homemade pellets, NLS cichlid pellets and frozen blood worms once a month or so.
