Can someone Id please? I know they are some kind of ancistrus but they have longer tail and red tail. Anyone ever breed them? I would think they are fairly easy like BN's?

Thanks for the help. (sorry for the substrate, i hate it too but not my tank

Awesome fish. They are wood eaters. Mine would also eat bloodworms and veggies. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get him. I have been asking for them around here for a while( afraid to ship as the last two shipments have all arrived doa. )

how much do they usually go for? Just wondering as im not familliar with these guys. Sounds like will be adding wood in the tank. They are more active than my BN's.

i bought mine for about $15-20 each about 4-5 years ago. If you get them right from the importer, it would be 8-12 but then you pay shipping too. Your price seems pretty good with not having to pay shipping.

BTW, is there a chance they can breed with bristlenose?

Im not sure if they will cross breed but I have long fin albino BN's in the tank so will see.
Anyways im laughing like crazy right now, you mention about ordering some plecos from "The Wet Spot". I googled it and click.... ha ha thats a porn site!
