FInally!

Post by xingumike »

I have kept over 20 sp of Pleco but gave them all up when I left the UK, Panaque has always been my favourite genus.

Managed to find someone here that was willing to source me something other than a Common or a Gibby, only took 4 years, so this is swimming in my tank this evening, from Colombia via Malaysia.

My guy had been told it was L27 he was bringing in but quite obviously not, either way I'm extremely happy to be a Panaque keeper again. The search continues, next time I'll ask for photos.

Very Nice
An American monkey, after getting drunk on brandy, would never touch it again, and thus is much wiser than most men.

Nice set up and handsome panaque.
I would be keeping a reef tank in Dubai. Many of my favorite reef fish and animals are found in the Red Sea area.

Thanks, I simply don't have the time to do a salt water set up justice at the moment, hopefully that will change.

The Red Sea, or the Gulf as we know it is actually pretty bereft of fish these days, the east coast of the peninsula, (Gulf of Oman and Indian Ocean) is much better for diving, snorkeling and fishing.

I know the local reefers do collect from the Gulf, both livestock and corals
