hi,

can somebody plz help id my fish?

from what i can tell it should be a Pterygoplichthys gibbiceps http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pterygopli ... tiradiatus.
any help would be appreciated.

You're right about the P. gibbiceps ID! :thumbsup:

make sure to give this one enough space to grow, they get very large and boisterous!

is gibbys the same as leopard sailfin? are they all considered sailfin? all these names confuses me.

Leopard sailfin pleco is one of the common names for P. gibbiceps. Unfortunately, common names can be rather confusing. And yes, sailfin would be the name for many fish that have a large dorsal fin - the other Pterygoplichthys species have relatively large dorsal fins, but they are USUALLY not called sailfin.
