Post by Charly EON »

Hello

Someone knows what this fish is ? any pics ?

Could it be a trade name for C. robustus

Charly

PS : I'm tired of these exporters who can't give a latin name to their fish...

Charly,

I know exporters are guilty of using made up names for fishes, but more often than not these days they tend to use the name of the river, village where the fish was collected or after the person that found it. There are however a lot of fish being exported that are actually un-described so an exporter has to call them something. Calling them 'Corydoras species' would not attract many buyers.
