Wierd green stuff on fish

Post by Zack »

Hi, I picked up two unknown cats today from the lfs to research them for them and give them some info. The cats were perfectly fine but once i got home i noticed some milky green chunky algea fungus like stuff on them so i left them in the tank in the bag for a while, while i settup another tank for them and when i went to get them the stuff was all off them and laying in the bag so i dropped them in. They dont have any of it on them and are swimming around fine. Any idea what it was?? Did i make a big mistake by putting them in there??

Probably algae stuck to the body when the fish swam through a patch. Nothing to worry about.
