Re: Tank makers in Manchester?

Thanks for the reply, Urmston is probably my nearest shop now to be honest, i may give them a try. Anyone know if Gaylife still make tanks? They used to but that was a long time ago.

Tank makers in Manchester?

Anyone know of any tank makers in the Manchester area? Or know of anywhere i could find out the recommended glass thickness for tanks, as i may make my own yet if I cant find a reasonable priced one.

Re: Pic of unknown black cat

They could well be Jools, i always thought they was black sharks, over 15 years ago when i went and i seem to remember them being that sp. Here's a vid of same tank and one of the large Labeos at 1.55 :-BD

Re: Chrysichthys, but which one ?

From what i can see and from what i remember of a fish i owned years ago it looks like it could be C brachynema, or it certainly looks closest to it.

Reliable Difference in Bagarius?

According to Sp guide on here, the easiest way to tell the difference in Bagarius Yarelli and B rutilus is the adipose fin in B rutilus starts before the start of the anal fin, is this correct? Fishbase say this is the same as B yarelli but they are quoting T.R. Roberts 1983 description, cant seem t...

Re: P. pangasius vs. P. hypothalamus

Hi Cliff, i will sit on fence and say nothing, other than nothing would amaze me what exporters of fish will do to sell fish, ie tattooing, dying, mutations etc,so separating them "sexually", and selling as different sp wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. :|
