Has anyone been able to locate this book for sale? I tried by searching on the ISBN and tried a few variations where I wasn't sure from the image. Thank you.

Corydoras sychri with odd bump
Hi everyone. I doubt there is anything to be done, but one of my Corydoras sychri has a rather significant bump, like a small pea is under its skin... the pictures aren't the best, and the animal doesn't seem to be any worse for wear, but any ideas? random abscess? (yea, I need to clean the glass)

bought as Pseudolithoxus duma L244, but have strong doubts
I bought a couple more L244 for my tank, one clearly is, this one was smaller and I didn't look all too closely when the clerk netted it as it was marked the only breed in the tank... but with the lyretail, and the coloration, I'm now pretty sure it isn't a Pseudolithoxus duma Advice on what it may ...

Cory ID, not 49 as I first thought... but close?
Need help with these. I thought 49, but I'm pretty sure I'm off there. Help is appreciated. I picked up three. http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u45/jimoo742/coryid3.jpg http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u45/jimoo742/coryid1.jpg One on left on bottom pic. Please send documentation of the find to the WDNR Natural Heritage Program, part of the Bureau of Endangered Resources. I used to work for them, that was a great job. Anyway, they track these "occurrences" and work to protect them, when they can.

Re: Zebra Pleco end of year Sale $100 each
But this doesn't change the fact that the Brazil government has put these fish on the list of "not to be exported", whether that is for a good reason or not, it is the Brazillian law. Imagine you live in Texas, and the US government puts a restriction on exporting blue-bonnet flowers. Now...

Re: A mystery problem keeping corys
I have the same size tank for my community tank, and it's fully planted. I only fertilize lightly every 3-4 months. It really doesn't seem to be needed. The tank growth is very dense without it. No C02 injection either.

Re: A mystery problem keeping corys
Are you using RO water? I had problems like what you're describing when I was using too much RO water (without adding buffer) and there were PH spikes. The cory's seemed to take the brunt of it. No enough or frequent enough water changes, either, IMO.

Re: ever see this pl*co before
Thanks. I was just curious. Wondered if there was a store I was missing in my rounds. I actually have to break down my tank and get rid of all my fish for a major move soon (bye bye breeding sterbai). But again, thank you.

Really? I haven't run into this. Of course, I couldn't imagine paying to keep a room at the upper 60s or into the 70s. My bill is high enough as it is and we keep it at 60-62 (gas heat).

One of my favorites. Kept one for 3 years until a move required me to let it go (give it away). Nice temperment, active in dawn/dusk frequently. Underappreciated cat.
