Yea I bought some of those root pieces and alot of your thick branchy pieces. The Root ones deff leach out tons of tannins but the thick branchy kind leach a bit as well and some have taken really long to sink. It varies Ive noticed from piece to piece.

I have purchased and used the driftwood sold here by this user and it really does look great and work great. The only this with these is it does take a bit of time for them to sink on there own between a week to even a month for some pieces. But this wood doesn't break down fast as all and my pleco'...

Ok it has its fright colors back on. When its not in fright colors its spots look just like they do on the dark part of its back.

Hypostomus punctatus gets to big also the spotting on the body is different. The spots on H. punctatus are defined on the head but not on the body where as my new pleco has defined spots through out the entire body.
