I'm with Eric, I've had clown plecos and they're very easy (need wood though). They're also very common and cheap, so you're relatively low risk. Most hypancistrus species are also quite easy, but you'll most likely need to feed a more meaty / omnivorous diet than the clown pleco.

They're doing great!
When I find some time, I will try to breed them. Just picked them up late 2021, so they need some more time to settle I think. Its an adult trio of 2m 1f.

I would say it's safer to let the newly hatched fry sit in a seperated egg tumbler/ container. When they have consumed their yolk sack, you can safely add them to the main tank.
