Crying whiptail fry problems
I have managed to get my whiptails to breed and have raised 6 of the first batch to 2in but the tails on three of the have bent upwards. Is this caused due to them damaging it while swimming about or is there a underlying problem?
Thanks

Re: Raising adolfoi fry issues
Did you have any kind of filtration or did you do daily water changes? I've got a batch of eggs hatching at the moment so I'll give it a try with them.

Ph 6.8, nitrates 10-15ppm nitrite...

Re: Sexing hoplo cats
I've been looking at the fins and 2 of the have longer and more curved pectoral fins, in fact the biggest of the 4 has the smallest fins. They are looking a bit chunkier now, I don't think the lfs knows how much these gluttons can eat. The lfs had about 20 of these but I couldn't spot any with any c...

Hello
I thought I would introduce myself, after using planetcatfish for years I finally decided to register to get some tips, contribute and talk to fellow catfish lovers. I've always had a fascination with cats from the start, mainly South American cats like the mighty piraiba all the way down to corys. ...
