Do the L66 change color at all from being in the caves so much? I saw one for a micro second leaving a cave and scurried under some bog wood. He or she seemed lighter in color but with a very quick look it's hard to tell.

I just noticed one of my L66 pleco's seems have a lot of light black lines where they used to be a lot darker, is this from being head first into the caves so much/ Seems healthy enough and swims fine, but always scurries out of the caves and quickly disappears under the bog wood so I only just get ...

Funny you should mention oak leaves, I have a Magnolia tree and tried some dried leaves and found they worked very well too. I get hundreds of leaves for the best price ever as well "FREE".

I plan on a 20 gallon long tank using Eheim 2236 echo canister filter, is it over filtering? Yes it is I guess but from what I have read my L333 tiger pleco's do a lot better in clean fast moving water which that model Eheim will deliver in both cases.
