Re: L66 color changes

Do the L66 change color at all from being in the caves so much? I saw one for a micro second leaving a cave and scurried under some bog wood. He or she seemed lighter in color but with a very quick look it's hard to tell. :-??

L66 color changes

I just noticed one of my L66 pleco's seems have a lot of light black lines where they used to be a lot darker, is this from being head first into the caves so much/ Seems healthy enough and swims fine, but always scurries out of the caves and quickly disappears under the bog wood so I only just get ...

Re: Indian Almond leaves

Funny you should mention oak leaves, I have a Magnolia tree and tried some dried leaves and found they worked very well too. I get hundreds of leaves for the best price ever as well "FREE". b-)

Re: Filtration and flow

Thanks for the input, I do have a 2232 eheim maybe I should try that out and see if 127gph will do job, to be honest I was kinda wondering if the 2236 would be a little too excessive. I'm at the trial and error stage now as I'm just starting the build. I'm wondering if I should go BB or use some san...

Filtration and flow

I plan on a 20 gallon long tank using Eheim 2236 echo canister filter, is it over filtering? Yes it is I guess but from what I have read my L333 tiger pleco's do a lot better in clean fast moving water which that model Eheim will deliver in both cases. Am I heading in the right direction, Thoughts a...
