Yes L114. But cannot be sexed with this shot. Better catch it and take close up photos from the top.

Re: PLEASE help need you opinions on this Aquabid seller.
IME, there are lots of reputable sellers on Aquabid. But, there are also some con-artists in there. Hard to argue based on few pictures but I can relate. I suggest you follow your suspicion if you truly feel there was a switch. Only you can determine the basis for this. Contact the seller and try to...

Had ones like these before. Regular BNs IMO. I agree they can be prone to bloating.

Re: Is this L205 P. brevis?
I agree it is Peckoltia but unsure which specie since it is currently young and small. I'd say wait for a while to see it grow and reach it adult size and form. Then, it'll be less difficult to determine which specie since you can eliminate other possibilities based on size, form, and patterns. Neve...

Re: Sexing L260 Queen Arabesque
Based on the first photo, fish on the right is surely a male one. Middle looks like a young female. Unsure about the fish on the left but could potentially be male also.
Females can be aggressive and territorial as well, nothing to be worried about.

Re: Sexing L201
Could be male because of its shape. But it might still be young and need more nourishment as well to show its true shape. Nevertheless, photo needs to be closer.

Too small and too young to determine. In the mean time, enjoy this nice fish and watch it grow.

Re: L014 as algae eater?
Getting an L014 will not resolve you algae problem. If you look at their dentition, their teeth are not designed for algae collection. Instead, they are more likely meant for scraping soft tissues from carrion. Yes, they are scavengers, but will also sink their teeth on vegetables. I agree, P. Josel...

Re: Peckoltia?
Hi! Thanks for the quick response! I was told this is L015, but I know otherwise. The tailfin is striped compared to the dotted pectoral fins. Also, the belly is dotted too. Right now, it is isolated in a 20G tank with several pieces of driftwood. Left some Hikari carnivore tabs last night and they ...
