Re: Red mouth cory catfish
Hi Mamabon; You could try a very mild antibiotic such as Melafix which is a leaf extract or Stress coat which is used as a water conditioner with Aloe. The injury may heal on its own as long as you don't have rough gravel, which could further injure that delicate little mouth. Don P.S. to upload a p...

Re: Giant Wels Catfish caught 115lbs
I'm not much of an angler anymore but years ago I lived in North Pole, Alaska.
The biggest fish I have landed was a 249 lb Halibut in south east Alaska
in the 80's. Because, I know there are large "Cat" fans here is why when I saw this
article I thought I'd share.

Hi MCampos I have to agree with the two other posters to your thread who by the way are much more knowledgeable than I on many of the Corydoras species. :-b The Elegans group look similar in many respects and I attempted to see where they are collected based on your location. According to PC; Corydo...

Hi MCampos,
Did you collect these fish or buy them?
The location for where they were collected will help you further narrow which species
within the "elegans group".
Nice fish regardless,

I hope you don’t mind another Aspidoras fan joining in on the conversation; I keep; Aspidoras spilotus, Aspidoras albator and Aspidoras pauciradiatus. The albator and spilotus are good spawners and I even find eggs in the hang on the back filters, how they manage to get into the filter, lay eggs and...

Hi CoryfanAad; Currently, I am working on finding a trigger for my wild caught C. Concolor's. Dave,
Thank you!
I assume then there is not a separate "Breeding Section" but, rather if that species has been bred, then under each species will be the report? Thank you again for that information.

Re: Is this a Corydoras Similis?
I tried to compare your Cory to mine, I keep both Corydoras polystictus and Corydoras similis; after checking them all out, I have to agree with Karsten Schönherr. Your fish has larger spots than my C.similis and C.polystictus lacks the caudal smudge. C66 is a good candidate for your fish, it is oft...

I've used both the soilent Green and meat pie. (*) my fish love the meat pie best. The great thing about this type of food is that you can add things to it. Re: Blackworms / Bloodworms: How Often?
I wanted to interject an opinion here about feeding frozen/Live/Manufactured foods. Hi Corycory, I have read that the lasers are more closely related to Corydoras melanotaenia. But, regardless I think many of the Corys are distantly related and "could" hybridize. I keep generally 2 species in each of my spawning tanks, and other than the Gold Laser/Green aeneus cross that ...
