Mine run 24/7 in my 120 gallon with my plecos and cories. Rivers don't stop running at night so the powerheads don't either ;)

Supposed "Dolphin Catfish" with fuzzy Barbels. ID please

I have an unknown species of catfish which was labelled as a dolphin catfish but clearly is not. It is about 2.5 inches long (juvie), dark grey head with very large eyes, pointed snout with a pair of long barbels with rays on them. Body is grey with a horizontal white stripe running from just behind...

I have lost a couple of very small bristlenoses in the past but chalked it up to the fact that they were very small and therefore not as hardy as larger specimens.

I couldn't find anything on Google either and my first thought was that it was probably bacterial in nature. My little fellow had access to and was eating shrimp pellets, algae wafers and nori in the short while that I had him. He was fine in the morning and gone when I checked on him at suppertime.
