Unidentified gray Otocinclus
Catfishers,
I recently acquired 3 Otocinclus at my Local Fish Store (LFS) that were labelled as 'Zebra Otocinclus'. As you can probably see from the pictures they are clearly not. Problem is, I can't find out what they are. Does anyone know? The fish are about 1 inch in length.

I'm not the best at plants, trying to get better. However, based on the plants I have seen, I would have to agree that it looks like Heteranthera zosteraefolia. And a nice outcropping at that!

I always have much better luck with the Slender Madtom than the very similar Stonecat, or even the Tadpole Madtom. I've also found that Slender Madtoms will survive very long periods (at least many months) on nothing but flake food and can tolerate temperatures in the range of tropicals for at ...

Smaller native catfish
Just wanted to let you know for the future, if you decide you want some native cats that are smaller, I sell Tadpole Madtoms that max out at about 3 inches. They look like bullheads but stay small. Check out prices on my site.
