Re: L-190 Breathing rapidly
Thanks for thr replies, guys. Their fins are all held open and look good, and the pike is acting normally. None of the fish has been scratching or flashing or looking uncomfortable. It is a 125 gallon tank (72x18x22), so I can't imagine its an oxygen issue, either. I am working at LFS today and made...

L-190 Breathing rapidly
I hope that someone can help me out here. I have three fish in my standard 125: a 3" crenicichla, a 2" L-190 and a 5" L-190. The tank has been set up for several years, though with this combination for only two weeks. The crenicichla and smaller pleco I have had for that same amount o...

Re: Couple of Questions about Pseudopimelodus Bufonius
Thanks for the reply Shane. I had never noticed the shedding until he was moved from one tank to another. I will definitely keep my eye on it. As for the feeding, I feed it FD krill and sinking pellets, usually every other day. I didn't know if I have been over doing it, as its growth rate has been ...

Re: Please ID my bumblebee cat
He could be a nicely marked specimen of b. raninus. He is very similar in build to the fish in the above picture, though with more light brown than dark.

Re: Please ID my bumblebee cat
Sorry. Meant to include photos. Apparently they are larger than the allowable file size. He is not an asian bumblebee. He has a rounded head and a large, forward facing mouth. He is light brown with multiple, irregular bands of dark brown and clear, striped fins. If I can figure out how to reduce th...
