Re: Synodontis Multipunctatus compatibility with swords/moll
I have a 55 gallon with Syno. multies in it with mollies & some Haps. the mollies were freebies my neighbor gave me as excess. the haps picked off the smallest ones & any/all fry so I have a group of 8 large black mollies that are now ignored by everyone. http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/g...

Synodontis multipunctatus
I was doing some thinking (I try not to too often, it hurts, lol) but evolution does strange things which work out in the end...sometimes. Take S. multi for instance. A parasitic spawner. What would compell a fish to risk the energy it need to produce a clutch of eggs only to drop it in front of ano...

BN pleco gender info
At what size do albino bn's become sexually dimorphic? I have one, I bought it at 3/4" & its now 2.5" long. It's in a 55 gallon tank. I'd like to get more, but am curious if its a male or not. http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg257/exasperatus2002/bristlenosedpleco00.jpg http://i250....

Re: The smallest pl*co?
With the exception of the stingray pleco (not a real pleco), I only use the term pleco of it has the typical "pleco" features...body armour, large mouth for clinging to the glass, dorsal & pectoral spikes. Farlowella, chinese algae eaters & such I wouldnt call a pleco.
