Ok so my shrimp/micro crab/nerite tank is infested with flatworms. They eat shrimplets and pester adults as they seem to be sticky. I have tried many things including garlic (which seems to make them go into hiding for short periods of time), weak doses of lemaisole and cutting right back on feeding...

Bristlenose to give away

Dont know where to post this since the forum for it is gone but I have baby albino bristlenose to give away in Scotland(Glasgow).They are about an inch long and very healthy.I dont want anything for them although if anyone has piebald or chocolate bristles to swap I would be interested.

Well the ones in the first cave are gone but I notice he is hanging about the second cave a lot so I shone a light in and theres a load of eggs in there too.I didnt realise a female could lay a second clutch within a day of the first one.

No way I was holding a bloodworm cube in the tank and mt SAE's were at the top nibbling away as usual when suddenly the little oil cat appeared and munched into the cube until he was really fat then dissapeared again.This was in the middle of the day with the lights on too :lol:

I paid 7.50 for him and there was about another half dozen in the tank.I know the owner quite well cos I used to work there on the weekends when I was like 16 so I can get him to get more in.

Well that settles it I will get him a friend 8)

Whats my chances of breeding them(bearing in mind my bristlenoses in there wont even breed...only thing that does is trumpet snails).

Thanks man I hope he will be happy in there.

Ok last night after lights out I sneaked a quick look and he was swimming madly around the surface then when he saw me he swam to the bottom and just sat there, is this normal.I'm sure my corys were giving him funny looks :lol:

He didnt make it and both tanks seem to have fungus and ich so that might have been what killed him or just finished him off.I'm so gutted cos I have had him 3 years or more :(
