Overview The first spawn was on Monday 11th of September 2023. The breeding group consisted of 0 males and 0 females. Additionally, there were 5 unknown individuals present. The smallest male was at least 65mm SL and the smallest female was at least 77mm SL. The youngest adult was approximately 24 months old. The individuals were obtained from Lfs.

Heating Generic brand heater turned on only in winter months. Was not plugged in during spawning time.
Down Breeding
Behaviour No active spawning witnessed aside from glass surfing. Eggs deposited mostly in the floating plants or on the sag grass directly in front of the wave maker. Eggs scattered mostly, not in dense groups. Only a few on glass.
Eggs There were 60 grey-white eggs laid which were 1.0mm in diameter.
