| Behaviour | Just prior to the initial spawn, the smallest of three males was killed. The dominant male trapped the female in a small d-shaped ceramic cave. despite being given a large selection of caves shapes and sizes, subsequent spawns were also in small d-shaped ceramic caves. Generally small batches of up to 10 eggs, 15 on one occasion. Young are slow growing. | |||||||||
