Overview | The first spawn was on Wednesday 1st of January 2020. The breeding group consisted of 1 male and 1 female. Additionally, there were 5 unknown individuals present. The smallest male was at least 35mm SL and the smallest female was at least 35mm SL. The individuals were obtained from At auction, F1 from Don Kinyon stock. |

Behaviour | Eggs were laid in all 3 spawning mops as well as on the aquarium glass. |
Eggs | There were 28 pale yellow/orange eggs laid which were 2.0mm in diameter. |

Segregation | Eggs were removed from the spawning tank to avoid them being eaten by the adults. They were placed in a dip and pour specimen container hung on the inside of the tank with water from the same tank and a few alder cones. Small water changes were made daily. Alder cones were removed as hatching was completed to keep the fry from becoming lodged in the small cones. |
