Overview The first spawn was on Sunday 11th of February 2018. The breeding group consisted of 2 males and 2 females. Additionally, there were 1 unknown individual present. The individuals were obtained from Rob McLure.

1.Black worms (live) weekly
2.Microworms (live) daily
3.Banana worms (live) daily
4.Crushed flake food (dry / prepared) few times a week

Down Aquarium
Dimensions The aquarium dimensions were 508mm x 279mm x 330mm (20" x 11" x 13") all Length x Width x Height.
Furniture Sand, Java moss (lots of it).
Filtration Sponge filter with added airflow/water flow from a second airline attached to air stone.
Lighting Fluval 18" LED
Heating Fluval E100 set to 78F.
Down Breeding
Behaviour Two males chase female. Animals do not swim in open water but skip over sand. Eggs laid on sand, with eggs coated by sand grains.
Eggs There were 5 light amber eggs laid which were 2.0mm in diameter.
Segregation Fry kept with parents. Fed live banana worms and microworms at least 2 times each day.
