I would like to get the albinos out but I need to tear down the tank completely to do that, and it has been running like this over 20 years; so I do regular water changes.

Dimensions 91.4 x 45.7 x 43.2cm (36 x 18 x 17")
Volume 180.5 litres, 39.7 UK gallons or 47.7 US gallons
Water Add rooibos tea to emulate blackwater during weekly water change
Furniture Wood and stones, crypts, free floating anubias nana and java fern clumps. Window screen wooden frame supports a variety of emersed plants including spider plant, pothos, bamboo, and jasmine. There is also a plant stand behind the tank to enhance the 'jungle' feel; currently a couple of African violets, a fern and a lipstick plant, all of which enjoy the high humidity. DIY stand has a hydroponic garden inside and also plenty of storage room, under the tank. The stand is about 4 feet high, so the top of the tank is nearly 6 feet up. It really gives a nice effect to look through to the back of the tank; which is enhanced by the 'breeder' design, low and wide. It is only rough finished, the front is open, but it allows airflow to the garden and for easy monitoring so I don't mind. 5 dwarf neon rainbowfish, 5 harlequin rasboras, 4 pygmy corydoras, pair of c. sodalis, pair c. paleatus (long fin), 2 otocinclus vitattus and 1 clown plecostomus

Water Add rooibos tea to emulate blackwater during weekly water change. This is a dedicated biotope tank and blackwater is essential; I ameliorate with tea with large catalpa leaves from lfs
Furniture Wood and stones, sand substrate, sparsely planted but with mature tall plants suitable for a 90G tank; crypts, 2 varieties of Amazon sword and giant vallinsneria. Window screen wooden frame supports a variety of emersed plants including spider plant, pothos, and jasmine. The light hanger has a hanging phalaenopsis orchid on each side, they hang about 7 feet high (well over 2m) DIY stand with large storage area underneath. There is room for a sump setup but I am not running one at present. NO FISH right now, still cycling as of 2021/01/04. Plan is for a school of angelfish in this dedicated biotope.
