| Water | Add rooibos tea to emulate blackwater during weekly water change | Furniture | Wood and stones, crypts, free floating anubias nana and java fern clumps.
Window screen wooden frame supports a variety of emersed plants including spider plant, pothos, bamboo, and jasmine. There is also a plant stand behind the tank to enhance the 'jungle' feel; currently a couple of African violets, a fern and a lipstick plant, all of which enjoy the high humidity.
DIY stand has a hydroponic garden inside and also plenty of storage room, under the tank. The stand is about 4 feet high, so the top of the tank is nearly 6 feet up. It really gives a nice effect to look through to the back of the tank; which is enhanced by the 'breeder' design, low and wide. It is only rough finished, the front is open, but it allows airflow to the garden and for easy monitoring so I don't mind.

Window screen wooden frame supports a variety of emersed plants including spider plant, pothos, and jasmine.
